If you’re short on time this holiday season and need to throw together a quick tablescape for your party or Christmas dinner, this easy DIY project is for you! Cranberries are easy to find, inexpensive, and are a perfect fit for the festivities of the season. I used this display last night at a casual holiday mixer to spruce up the buffet table. It cost less than $15 and took about that long to arrange as well. I love that it is simple, clean and modern.

All you need are some glass cylinder vases or hurricanes, a few bags of cranberries (I used three here), and a bunch of your favorite flowers. Put some cranberries in the bottom of each container, fill with water, and float a flower head right on top. By the way, I had no idea that cranberries float! Go figure. Turned out to be the perfect “base” for the gerber daisies to rest on though. Fa la la la la!
Another option is to use a floating candle on top instead of the flower. Just as easy, and it adds a nice warm glow to your evening!
