Ahhh, half a century!  Time to party; and party, they did!  

Happy to share some of the details of a surprise 50th birthday celebration at The Hills Hotel with you today.  I learned from the birthday girl’s daughter that Chrissy loves shoes, sparkle and bling – sounds like my kinda woman!  Armed with this information, we went with a palette of plum, silver and gold with touches of rhinestone detail sprinkled throughout.  The beautiful flowers were designed by the talented Beth from The Pink Daffodil and with the addition of some festive garlands, balloons and confetti, we were ready to go!  Makes me think that getting older just might not be so bad!

O.M.G.  You don’t know how excited I am to share these gorgeous pics with you today!  Now, all of my weddings hold a special place in my heart, but this one (the bride is my bestie) is right up there with my own wedding in terms of bring-a-tear-of-joy-to-my-eye emotional impact.  The best part was that I got to spend an amazing year doing what I love for one of the people I love the most, talk about some quality BFF bonding time!  The day was gorgeous, the bride radiant and the groom could not wipe that lovesick puppy grin off his face!  Now, that is love… 

Happy First Day of Fall!

I know I’m a little late in getting these photos up from the swanky summer soirée that I worked on last month.  This was one cocktail party that rivaled the summer heat!  Preeti, my favorite hostess with the mostess, wanted to end the summer on a high note with a big bash for her near and dear.  In fact, the party was for her birthday, but she didn’t want to draw attention to the fact.  She just wanted to focus on getting all of her favorite people together for a fun and fabulous time.  How classy is that? 

You know the drill… he got down on one knee, pulled out the ring… your heart skipped a beat (or two) and you screamed “YESSSSS!”  The next thing you know you’re in a whirlwind of phone calls and post-engagement celebrations, telling your engagement story over and over.

How awesome would it be if you could just play the video of the proposal for them?  Brilliant, I say!
