“Here comes the bride . . . all dressed in white . . . ”  Oh, wait.  Here come the bridesmaids . . . all dressed in white too!

Ever since Pippa Middleton made a splash earlier this year in her stunning ivory cowl-neck gown, bridesmaids dresses in white, ivory and cream have taken center stage in celebrity weddings and runways alike.  Kate Moss dressed her bridal party all in white, as did Kim Kardashian in her wedding to Kris Humphries last month.

You know the drill… he got down on one knee, pulled out the ring… your heart skipped a beat (or two) and you screamed “YESSSSS!”  The next thing you know you’re in a whirlwind of phone calls and post-engagement celebrations, telling your engagement story over and over.

How awesome would it be if you could just play the video of the proposal for them?  Brilliant, I say!

A Cartier tiara, a 300 foot long red-carpeted aisle, and a Prince waiting at the end . . . this is truly the stuff of dreams.  Being in the business of weddings, obviously, I kinda dig ‘em.  But, while I’ve kept up on the stories of the Royal Wedding and followed the details that have been released, I really haven’t given it that much thought.

Alright, I have to say that when I first heard about this new hair trend and saw Steven Tyler rockin’ them on American Idol, I didn’t quite get it.  At all.  It was just a little too Captain Jack Sparrow for me, what with the vast assortment of frilly, ruffled blouses (yes, these are blouses, not shirts!) that he also sports weekly.
